Endovascular Repair of a Right Subclavian Artery Aneurysm with Coil Embolization and Stent Graft: Case Report and Literature Review

Subclavian artery aneurysms (SAAs) may be clinically asymptomatic or present with symptoms ranging from pain to upper limb ischemia, posterior circulation ischemia, or, most seriously, life-threatening rupture and hemorrhage. In recent years, endovascular treatment has been extensively employed as an alternative for treating SAAs with favorable anatomy, especially in patients who are not candidates for surgery. We report a case of successful endovascular treatment of SAA with coil embolization and stent graft. The follow-up examinations at 1 year showed good patency of the subclavian artery with no endoleak. © 2016 Elsevier Inc.
