摘要:
A canine model for a dural defect was used to evaluate the tissue response to a collagen based matrices cross-linked and sterilized using different methods. Type-1 collagen-GAG implant with dehydrothermal (DHT) treatment was commended for treatment of dural defect by its induction of the least number and severity of adhesion. It was observed that collagen alone implant induced more adhesions. The results show that a DHT-crosslinked collagen GAG implant can be a useful alternative to an autologous tissue graft for the treatment of dural defects.
