Aim: To study the factors that influence young managers' quality of life and provide dates to promote the quality of life of this kind of people. Methods: Totally 164 young managers who had no basic disease and were less than 40 years in a Shandong company were selected with simple random sampling methods. We used SF-36, which included 8 sections: physical function (PF), the effect of physical function on the role function (RP), pain, general self-rating of health (GH), vigor, social function, the effect of emotion on role function (RE) and psychological function, and Logistic regression analysis to access the factors that could influence the quality of life. Results: Age had a significant influence on young managers' RE and psychological function (partial regression coefficient: 0.281, 1.258; P=0.029, P=0.033). Salary had a significant influence on young managers' RP, RE and GH (partial regression coefficient: 0.002, 0.002, 0.003; P=0.014, P=0.042, P=0.006). Professional title had a significant influence on young managers' RP, pain and social function (partial regression coefficient: -1.703, -1.922, -1.257; P=0.008, P=0.002, P=0.030). Education had a significant influence on young managers' vigor (partial regression coefficient: 1.362, P=0.025). Working lifetime had a significant influence on managers' RE and psychological function (partial regression coefficient: -0.240, -0.216, P=0.035, P=0.037). Conclusion: Young managers' qualities of lives are influenced by age, working lifetime, professional title, salary and education.
