Objective: To understand the diagnosis and treatment of encephalopathy caused by hyperthyroidism. Methods: The treatment of a patient with encephalopathy caused by hyperthyroidism was recorded. The medication and the thyroidea function were analyzed. Results: The thyroidea function was recovered and epilepsy was controlled by antithyroid drugs and antiepileptic drugs. Conclusion: Encephalopathy caused by hyperthyroidism gets recovery completely by proper treatment.
