摘要:
Adult degenerative spinal deformity is a de novo due to spinal degeneration after bone maturation, which involves not only the spinal curvature on the sagittal plate, but also the spinal curvature on the coronal plate,or coexisting.Previous studies have confirmed that sagittal and coronal imbalances are associated with the occurrence of lower back pain, sciatica, numbness, intermittent claudication, functional impairment, and psychological disorders. In addition, sagittal imbalance and coronal imbalance play an important role in evaluating and predicting preoperative and postoperative clinical symptoms and treatment outcomes.Hence,it is crucial to correctly understand the sagittal and coronal plane imbalance in treating adult degenerative spinal deformities.
