Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) is an emerging treatment modality that represents a far less invasive technique alternative to conventional open surgical repair for the treatment of thoracic aortic disease. The rapid transformation of this technique has prompted the necessity to consider systematically the indications, appropriateness, limitations, and delivery of this treatment adopted by clinicians. They necessarily require seasoned endovascular experience and refined skills to perform this procedure safely and effectively. Meticulous assessment of anatomy and preoperative procedure planning are critical for optimal outcome.
