We isolated 413 strains of bacteria from the samples collected in our hospital and made the test of their sensitivity to quinolone. Results showed the common bacteria are S. aureus, K. pneumoniae, E. coli and P. aeruginosa, and P. aeruginosa is the most prevalent (111 strains, 26.8%). The sensitivity test shows the quinolone is an effective drug against Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli. The sensitivity rate is around 70% ~ 90%. It is lower than the previous reports. So we suggest to rationalize the usage of the quinolones to reduce the bacterial resistance.
